Album Review: Entombed AD - Dead Dawn

"Ferocious rumbles devour the listener from the get go."

More Entombed A.D. More Entombed A.D.

Splitting off from regular ol' Entombed in 2014, Entombed AD are now dropping their second record under the moniker.

Album opener Midas In Reverse is devastating: ferocious rumbles devour the listener from the get-go, and the album doesn't really let up, save for the occasional rock'n'roll guitar lead. While the mix sounds absolutely brilliant on a neutral system, even a little bit of EQing throws the whole thing off. The musical movements sometimes get away from vocalist LG Petrov's fairly one-note delivery, but overall the band's chemistry ensures Dead Dawn is a passionate death'n'roll record.
