More Counting Crows More Counting Crows

With an enviable back catalogue and 20 years at the top of their genre, Californian troupe Counting Crows have substantial clout when it comes to FM-friendly pop-rock.

Somewhere Under Wonderland is the band’s seventh album and, compared with some of their previous records, the nine songs present here are, overall, decidedly more upbeat.
This will no doubt please plenty of fans who love nothing more than to kick off their shoes and boogie down, although what lets Somewhere Under Wonderland down is the lack of slower piano-based songs, which has been a highlight of their past work.
