Ronny Chieng: Chieng Reaction

"The crowd chuckles the whole way through with a few big laughs that make for a great night’s entertainment."

Ronny Chieng jokes that he is in that awkward phase of 'remaining down to earth but becoming famous' to a large crowd at The Hi-Fi bar in his new show Chieng Reaction. The comic has had great success with two previous solo shows and appearances on TV, and is, for the purposes of comedy, anything but humble about it. Chieng has an aggressive style of observational humour, from challenging the phrase about comparing apples and oranges, to chastising Apple staff, the under-25, and women. Women it appears, in a number of cliché observations, are a mystery to Chieng. Chieng is quick-witted, and curiously charming despite his aggressive law kid stage persona. The crowd chuckles the whole way through with a few big laughs that make for a great night's entertainment.
