Dave Hughes: Pointless

"One week into the festival and Hughes may have just presented its stand out show."

Touching on his time as co-host of The Project, Dave Hughes recalls anecdotes of interviewing Pharrell Williams, Brad Pitt and One Direction. Despite his profile, he is remarkably personable. His stories about raising three children under the age of five and the intimacies of his relationship with his wife offer a daily insight into his frenzied life and while many comedians are nonchalant in their delivering, Hughes is the opposite, jumping out of his skin with a natural energy that is instantly infectious and likeable. Recently retiring from radio and television to focus on stand up comedy, Dave Hughes is tonight bang-on point and one week into the festival, may have just presented its stand out show.
