Album Review: Teleman - Breakfast

This record fits somewhat comfortably alongside the likes of Django Django and Alt-J.

From the beautifully minimal album art to song names like Skeleton Dance, Teleman sure seem composed as hell. They know what they're doing and they're happy to show you. This feeling of pride permeates through their debut record, always bubbling under the surface of their indie-electro-rock grooves. The sounds aren't entirely mindblowing, but this is fun music and well produced for a debut LP. This record fits somewhat comfortably alongside the likes of Django Django and Alt-J – fans of these acts will more than enjoy this record.
