Though not a challenging listen, this album should still please their fans.

More Rodrigo Y Gabriela More Rodrigo Y Gabriela

Rodrigo Y Gabriela have maintained a steady output of studio and live releases since they left their busking days in Dublin behind them; this release sees them traversing familiar musical ground. Percussive guitar typically accompanies lead work throughout the album, and tracks like Torito and Misty Moses have the duo continuing to draw inspiration from long-time influence Metallica. There are, however, some mellower moments to be had (Sunday Neurosis; Megalopolis), which gives the album a welcome change of pace from frenetic Latin strums. Though not a challenging listen, this album should still please their fans.
