Album Review: Paolo Nutini - Caustic Love

Nutini's latest release showcases the simple fact that whatever style he may branch out into, he'll make it his own. Make no mistake here – his voice being one of the most distinctive and recognisable in the contemporary industry is not the only factor at play. Paolo's songwriting and instrumental prowess are just as important to his sound as his voice, and Caustic Love shows he's reached a whole new level of sophistication with all of the above. Drawing on influences like Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings and Otis Redding, this album could well become a classic.
