"This is how it’s done."

Eighteen months in the making but Lanark's self-titled debut album proves to be well worth the wait – wedged between two nameless instrumental tracks lies a dreamy collection of celestial proportions to be had. The catchy indie riffs and delay-laden harmonies of last year's Able Oust make for a standout, as do the beautiful melancholy vibes of Providence and grit of Gamble. Sure, a ten-minute song named after a spiky mammal may be a little excessive but if it's going to be done, post-rock songsters take note: this is how it's done.
