It almost feels like this record was written for you personally: a really special feeling.

More Mac DeMarco More Mac DeMarco

Mac DeMarco offers such a fully formed and pitch-perfect aesthetic that it's no wonder a lot of his fans dress exactly like him. His songs are like a cheerful slacker how-to guide couched in off-kilter pop songs, held together by that sparkling guitar tone. Salad Days picks up pretty much where 2 left off mood-wise. It's warm and slinky and heartfelt, and songs like Brother and Let Her Go feel remarkably genuine, with DeMarco giving measured advice in that totally pretence-free croon. It almost feels like this record was written for you personally: a really special feeling.
