Album Review: Augustines - Augustines

Don't let the occasional 'indie' genre classification fool you – Augustines, formerly We Are Augustines, are a fast-paced, ballad-loving, head-banging rock band of old. Following two and a half years of touring with their smash debut LP, Rise Ye Sunken Ships, the trio teamed up with producer Peter Katis (The National) for another round of energetic, fist-pump-worthy anthems. Early track Nothing To Lose But Your Head has some heavy lyrics for those trying to find that 'something more' in the music, but don't fret, there's still plenty of Springsteen-esque choruses for anyone who just wants to rock on.
