Album Review: Various/DJ Nino Brown - Blazin' 2014

Local spinner DJ Nino Brown's urban compilation series never really changes so it would be silly to think that Blazin' 2014 would be any different to its predecessors. The big players of current, commercial hip hop and R&B all appear – Jason Derulo, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj – and it does feature some chart hits from the past 12 months – Rihanna's Diamonds and Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home. But with so many great urban albums released last year, it's hard to see why you'd waste your money on this. It's time for Nino to try something new.
