Flying to Paris to write for two years and employing renowned Belgium producer Luuk Cox has paid off big time for Melbourne-based brother and sister alternative pop duo Belle Roscoe, as evident by the 13 indie pop gems contained within Boom Boom.
At times the amount of instrumentation for a two-piece becomes a little too much, but any concerns Julia and Matty Gurry are hiding behind a wall of noise are dissolved with one listen to stripped-back number Bad Man, which features Julia's lush voice as a solid driving force.
