Eminem is dead. Long live Eminem.

More Eminem More Eminem

A magnificent, multi-faceted monster, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the album we desperately hoped for but didn't dare expect. MMLP2 is a return to form so unlikely it feels impossible. Perhaps Em hasn't actually returned to what he was, but has become something new? Maybe. Bad Guy, a seven-minute tour de force, opens proceedings and in it our host revisits his decade old smash Stan but, this time, his murder victim is himself. Thrilling. A stratospheric sample budget is flexed on Rhyme Or Reason and Love Game. The Monster is enormous pop driven by a haunting Rihanna hook. Eminem is dead. Long live Eminem.
