With the band set to carry without Boge, the warts’n’all documentary becomes compelling viewing.

More The Butterfly Effect More The Butterfly Effect

There was a time when Brisbane's Butterfly Effect, undeniably one of Australia's best-loved alt-rock groups, could do no wrong. Yet all good things come to an end – last August the lads hung up the steel caps after 12 years and this two-disc DVD set chronicles their demise. Frontman Clint Boge and co's last show at Melbourne's Palace Theatre demonstrates, admittedly without the best sound or most engaging camerawork, both their musical prowess and their fans' intensity. With the band set to carry without Boge, the warts'n'all documentary becomes compelling viewing.
