Not many names hold as much weight in the Aussie music industry as Gudinksi. 2017 offered a huge year for the father and son dynasty of Michael, Matt and the Mushroom Group. Most signi cantly for Executive Director Matt Gudinski came the development of a new powerhouse venture in Mushroom Creative House, announced mid-way through the year and tagged as being, “An agency that connects. A studio that creates.”
Mushroom Creative House operates under two arms, the rst uniting “brands to their audience in meaningful ways by giving consumers experiences they’ll never forget” and the second, a creative agency that further develops these experiences.
Gudinski sits at the top of agency, as well as maintaining his other Executive Director responsibilities within the company, and told Mumbrella at the time of launching that “We were having a look at our operations and we saw that we had about three or four different pockets of people all trying to work towards the same goal and trying to really create some ‘money can’t buy’ amazing experiences between brands and artists.”

“We thought if we are going to achieve the best results possible, it would be best to bring everyone together and create one connected agency internally, and that is where Mushroom Creative House came about.” While it sits within the Mushroom realm, the agency isn’t limiting itself to just musicians, with relationships already in place with major players like Jaguar, Bonds, Telstra, the Victorian State Government and more.
As well as Mushroom Creative House, Gudinski continues his dedicated work with Illusive Presents, which saw another run successful run of RNB Fridays Live in 2017 (the series developed by Gudinski in association with Hit FM), and already has tours with Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti locked in for 2018, as well launching the rst ever RNB Vine Days events.
