Just Visiting: The Ruth Moody Band

Why are you coming to visit our fair country? We’re coming over to play shows – nine, to be exact, as well as two festivals. But let’s face it, we’re also coming over to grab some sun in the middle of our winter.

Is this your first visit? No, I have visited many times, and I also came over with my other band ‘The Wailin’ Jennys in 2006.

How long are you here for? We are here in Australia from 18 Feb to 10 Mar, and we’ll be making our way from the east coast to the west coast, and back again!

What do you know about Australia, in ten words or less? Kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras, platypuses, wombats.

Any extra-curricular activities you hope to participate in? I’d like to show my bandmates The Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles.

What will you be taking home as a souvenir? A tan, hopefully!
