Sausages and Aussie BBQs, all the way in Brighton!

DAY ONE

We're finally here in the UK! Ball Park Music thought they had see the last of us after Groovin the Moo but SURPRISE! We were on the same flight over to the UK! We parted ways at Heathrow and drove down to Brighton to see and catch up with our mate Fraser A Gorman and his band. Between the bands, Tom found time to get a few snaps in for his modeling portfolio. Despite how freezing cold it is here, we're pretty excited to be at The Great Escape and can't wait to play tomorrow night at the Spiegeltent.

DAY TWO

Second day here and let's just say some of us are coping with jet lag better than others. Our first gig at The Great Escape is happening at the Spiegeltent which feels like the Tardis in Dr Who. We have played a few different Spiegeltents before and they all look the same on the inside, so it's hard to believe we're not at home. In between sound check and the gig we had a walk through Brighton and went to a pub to watch our gal pals Little May.

DAY THREE

We worked on our beach volleyball skills before setting up for the Aussie BBQ. I think I ate at least 50 sausages, served by the UK's angriest food vendor, over the course of the day. We shared the stage with the Bad Dreems, Remi and TKAY. The gig was awesome and in true Aussie form the speakers were cranked! At the end of the gig our drummer, Rainesy, had pretty much destroyed his snare. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the sun at a nearby pub where Bad Dreems played their second show.

DAY FOUR

Back in London for Aussie BBQ part 2. We headed down to Brick Lane to stuff our faces at the markets and check out some music at Rough Trade East. The line up for the Aussie BBQ was pretty similar to Brighton minus the sausages. We had a pretty sick time on stage playing to some Australian expats and danced to Remi to cap off the night.
