Bruce Springsteen has joined The Killers for a three-song encore at Madison Square Garden.

The Boss teamed up with the Las Vegan rockers to perform Springsteen classics Born In The USA and Badlands, as well as a live rendition of the two acts' collaboration Dustland.

Springsteen wasn't the only special guest involved in the memorable encore, with celebrated saxophonist and E Streed Band member Jake Clemons accompanying all three tracks.

The Killers are on the tail end of their Imploding Their Mirage Tour.

Their rescheduled Imploding The Mirage tour will hit Australia this November.

The tour, initially announced for the tail end of 2020, has also been extended to include Barossa Valley, Geelong, and Hunter Valley for a special run of A Day On The Green shows.

The Imploding The Mirage Aussie dates will double as the celebration of not one, but two records to have been released since they last toured Australia, with songs from 2020s Imploding The Mirage and 2021s Pressure Machine due to be featured among the band's stacked collection of crossover hits.

The band were featured in our list of top ten AFL Grand Final music performances for their unforgettable pre-game and post-game performances in 2017.

Bruce Springsteen announced a new soul covers album, Only The Strong Survive. Springsteen's 21st studio album will feature his interpretations of songs by Jerry Butler, The Temptations, the Commodores, Tyrone Davis and many more.

Speaking about the record in a statement, Springsteen explained the intention and inspiration behind the release.

“I wanted to make an album where I just sang. And what better music to work with than the great American songbook of the Sixties and Seventies? I’ve taken my inspiration from Levi Stubbs, David Ruffin, Jimmy Ruffin, the Iceman Jerry Butler, Diana Ross, Dobie Gray and Scott Walker, among many others.” “I’ve tried to do justice to them all—and to the fabulous writers of this glorious music, my goal is for the modern audience to experience its beauty and joy, just as I have since I first heard it. I hope you love listening to it as much as I loved making it.”

Only The Strong Survive will be released on November 21.
