Skeletonwitch won't be joining them, however

Uplifting news today for fans of Portland-based thrash-metallers Toxic Holocaust: following last month's regrettable postponing of their planned Australian/NZ tour with Skeletonwitch comes the announcement that the band has officially rescheduled, and will now be heading Down Under to rock your bad selves in November.

The cancellation was a result of Toxic Holocaust vocalist Joel Grind being afflicted with a nasty throat condition, so the postponement was certainly for the best. However, due to consequent scheduling conflicts as a result of the change, Skeletonwitch won't be able to come along for the ride, and so their good, critically acclaimed, friends Iron Reagan (featuring members of Municipal Waste and Darkest Hour) will be stepping in to fill the void.

On the plus side, the extended wait will have given Toxic Holocaust plenty of times to truly get on top of the material from latest album Chemistry Of Consciousness, which will have just celebrated its first birthday by the time they arrive in Australia.

All tickets that were purchased for the original tour dates remain valid for the rescheduled shows, so make sure you hang on to both your tickets and proof of purchase to ensure that they're honoured come November.
