This will be insane.

More Toxic Holocaust More Toxic Holocaust

Two of the world's greatest underground thrash metal bands, Toxic Holocaust and Skeletonwitch, will both be hitting Australia in April 2014 for what would be an absolute wet dream of a tour for fans of thrash anywhere on the planet.

Toxic Holocaust has been Joel Grind's baby for the past 15 years and in that time he and his band have put together tons of singles, four EPs and five studio albums – the most recent of which, Chemistry Of Consciousness, was released just a couple of weeks ago. It's lively thrash that owes plenty to the 80s thrash, hardcore, d-beat and extreme metal genres and it's fucking excellent.

Skeletonwitch celebrate ten years in the game this year and have done so with a brand new record called Serpents Unleashed, which also dropped a mere couple of weeks ago. The record – the band's fifth – has them sounding scarier and angrier than ever and will probably see them hit more sets of ears than they ever have in the past. Word from overseas is that, no matter how good their records are, Skeletonwitch will always be best on the live stage, so getting to see them in Australian clubs is a ridiculously exciting prospect.

Joining in on this ridiculously awesome thrash roadshow is Melbourne speed metal demons MetalStorm, who'll get things warmed up just nicely, we reckon.

Dates are in theGuide below; do some neck exercises in preparation for this monumental tour.
