Way to go, Hot Chip.

More Hot Chip More Hot Chip

With British electro outfit Hot Chip set to perform in Perth this Friday night it has today been announced that some of the ticket sales from the show will go towards The Lord Mayor's Distress Relief Fund (LMDRF) in support of the victims of the bushfires in south-west WA.

Taking place at Fremantle Arts Centre, Frontier Touring will donate $20 from every ticket sold to the LMDRF Waroona & District Fires Appeal.

The band's recent shows in Sydney and Melbourne sold out, while they received rave reviews for their performance at Sugar Mountain festival over the weekend — click here for our full review.

The announcement comes just weeks after a benefit show was held in Perth, following the cancellation of Southbound, which raised over $150,000 for the bushfire appeal.

Meanwhile, a number of WA artists are asking for donations to help raise money by releasing covers of some classic David Bowie tracks
