More Wil Wagner More Wil Wagner

With The Smith Street Band about to embark on another tour in support of Throw Me In The River, the punk outfit's hardworking frontman Wil Wagner has announced he'll be setting off on a solo tour of his own this August.

In what will be Wagner's largest solo shows ever, Wagner and mate/producer/tour buddy Jeff Rosenstock will be taking two east coast shows by the balls — the first at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on 18 August and the next at Melbourne's Corner Hotel on 19 August.

You can grab Wagner's honest brand of acoustic punk at his Bandcamp — his latest release was 2013's Laika, an eight-song record produced and engineered by fellow Poison City act Lincoln Le Fevre.

The Smith Street Band will kick off the victory lap of Throw Me In The River this Friday.
