With New Zealand and Japan dates confirmed last week, we knew it was only a matter of time before Ringo Starr, narrator of Thomas The Tank Engine, would be bringing his All Starr Band (very funny, Ringo) to Australia. This morning the dates have been confirmed for mid-February, with shows happening across the country.

The band has a bit of a rotating line up, but the musicians the Beatles drummer brings over for these shows is the same band he took around the US for the past couple of months and reports are stating that they were pretty good.

It really is a ridiculous bunch of musicians, but I guess when you were in the best band that ever existed you can kind of pick and choose. Take a look at this line up!

The setlists are said to be “a jukebox full of hits”, with Ringo's own songs like It Don't Come Easy, Photograph, Little Help From My Friends and Yellow Submarine as well as hits from other All Starrs members like Rosanna, Broken Wings, Hello It's Me and Black Magic Woman.

It's going to be a lot of fun and a real treat for those who are really into quality musicianship!

Wednesday 13 February – Horden Pavilion, Sydney
