More Peking Duk More Peking Duk

Aussie favourites Peking Duk have launched a podcast aptly named Peking Duk Podcast on Southern Cross Austereo's (SCA) LiSTNR app.

Featuring special guests such as The Inspired Unemployed, The Kooks, Brooke Boney, Tony Armstrong, Flex Mami, Alex Dyson, Jack River, Muselk, Alex Lahey and more, the duo of Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles will run through their guests' most significant successes and the fails that made them. The Peking Duk Podcast is the first of its kind for an Australian band, so it's sure to be a hit with its banter and exclusive stories.

"From playing at cocktail bars in Canberra to playing Coachella, we've had lots of wild shit happen. We love sharing stories. We also love banter and conversations. We are recording it all and conning all our fave mates like The Inspired Unemployed and Brooke Boney to join in!" the duo revealed.

Head Of Entertainment And Culture at LiSTNR Original Podcasts, Sam Cavanagh, shared, "In my 20 years producing radio and podcasts, I booked Peking Duk as guests any chance I got! Adam and Rueben always delivered the best stories and hilarious banter. So, when the opportunity came up to create a podcast with them, it was an easy YES!"

As well as launching a podcast, Peking Duk have also released a new single, Spend It, featuring Circa Waves. The club banger follows their collaboration with US hyperpop star Slayyyter, Honest

When Groovin The Moo festival made its long-awaited return this year, Peking Duk were on stage and capped off an eclectic celebration. The Canberra edition saw the hometown lads unify an increasingly loose crowd, young and old, with a high-energy performance that left Maitland in the dust. Though it was the Sunday on the eve of ANZAC Day, the atmosphere was anything but gloomy; a celebration of the best pop, indie, electronic, and rap festival programmers could muster in a world still in the grips of a pandemic.
