“Sydney All-Nighter was created to encourage people to come out at night and experience the best of Sydney’s vibrant music and nightlife culture from the Cross to Parramatta."
Sydneysiders will be treated to an exceptional night of music on the 17th of September with the all-new festival, Sydney All-Nighter.
Hosted by Solotel, the event will bring 100 live music acts to over 27 stages between 16 venues, all for free! Proudly funded by the NSW Government through the CBDs Revitalisation Program, Sydney All-Nighter is a free event that will contribute to boosting the music and hospitality industries in Sydney, and provide punters with a chance to enjoy live music without spending their hard-earned dosh.
Michael Rodrigues, 24-Hour Economy Commissioner, said: “The CBDs Revitalisation Program has seen some incredible activations so far and this promises to be another. Encouraging audiences back into venues is a core objective of this program and I’m thrilled to see so many light up from east to west all at once, thanks to this investment. Live music and entertainment is well and truly back in Sydney and collaboration between the 16 venues and more than 100 artists sets an exciting benchmark for an in-venue music festival. I'm looking forward to checking it out myself.”
The line-up for the night includes Confidence Man (DJ SET), Harvey Sutherland (DJ SET), Montaigne, North East Party House (DJ SET), Becca Hatch and many more to be announced. Each artist will be stationed at a different venue across Sydney, so it's the perfect opportunity to travel across town and witness your favourite artists play in an unusual venue. Curated so that each line-up reflects the local venues' identity and community, the roster will cater to a wide range of musical tastes and geographical locations, drawing crowds from all over the city.
Montaigne is set to kick off the afternoon with a spellbinding performance against a Sydney Harbour backdrop at Opera Bar followed by Becca Hatch, enveloping the crowd with her tranquil yet powerful sound. Indie-electro duo, Confidence Man, spin the decks to ignite the dance floor at Waywards at Bank Hotel while Harvey Sutherland digs into his vinyl collection for a special DJ set at the newly opened Rekōdo Restaurant & Vinyl Bar at Barangaroo House.
