More Broods More Broods

You’re going to be hearing a stack of Broods on triple j this week, with the New Zealand outfit’s new record, Don’t Feed The Pop Monster, named the youth broadcaster’s Feature Album.

We described the new record as a “solid collection of earwormy pop with the odd dark diversion, all stamped with the personality and creative preoccupations of New Zealand brother and sister duo Georgia and Caleb Nott”.

You’ll also get an earful of LA skate punks FIDLAR, with their their third studio LP, Almost Free, added to rotation.

There’s a lot of local talent scoring rotation too, with Jarryd JamesSlow Motion, Lime Cordiale’s Money, Mallrat and Basenji’s Nobody's Home and Thelma Plum’s Not Angry Anymore making the cut alongside new tunes from international hitmakers Billie Eilish, Little Simz, PUP and Vampire Weekend.
