He's back at it.

More Morrissey More Morrissey

Morrissey has vowed never to do a print interview again after his comments surrounding Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein stirred up controversy for the singer.

In an interview with Germany’s Der Spiegel last week, Morrissey appeared to come out in support for the wave of celebrity alleged abusers, commenting in reference to Spacey’s alleged relationship with a 14-year-old : “When you are in somebody’s bedroom, you have to be aware of where that can lead to. That’s why it does not sound very credible to me.”

He then furthered his comments in a separate interview with The Times.

“You must be careful as far as ‘sexual harassment’ is concerned because often it can be just a pathetic attempt at courtship”

In a new development, as NME reports, Morrissey addressed the comments at a Chicago show directly, vowing never to do print interviews again.

“I did an interview a couple of weeks ago for a German newspaper and, of course, let me just say this: That was the last print interview I will ever do,” the Smiths frontman said

He continued: “Unless you see the words form in my mouth and then you see or hear the words come out of my mouth… please, if you don’t see that, I didn’t say them.”
