US rock icons The Killers have announced the confirmed dates for their rescheduled Imploding The Mirage tour, which will now kick off late next year.

The tour, which was originally announced for the tail end of 2020, has also been extended to include Barossa Valley, Geelong, and Hunter Valley for a special run of A Day On The Green shows.

The year-long gap between announcements also left enough time for the band to record a new album, putting Imploding The Mirage behind their now most recent release, Pressure Machine.

The news has been a long time coming for fans, who have been waiting since March of last year for updates/ During that time, the band announce they would be postponing their entire world tour run in an effort to maintain safety during the early stages of coronavirus concerns.

"Ultimately, we want you, our fans, to stay focused on prevention and remaining safe and cautious right now," they said at the time.

General sale tickets for the tour will go on sale from Monday, 15 November. For all the info, jump on over to theGuide.
