To celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album, The Captain, Kasey Chambers will embark on a massive tour of Australia this year.

Starting this September in Melbourne, the ARIA Hall of Famer will move on to perform in Geelong, Wangaratta, Lismore, Brisbane, Southport, Adelaide, Perth, Bridgetown, Deavonport, Launceston, Hobart, Thirroul, Penrith, Campbelltown, Bathurst, Redfern, Newcastle and Canberra.

Following its release in May 1999, The Captain went on to peak at #1 on the Australian Albums chart, as well as score Chambers her first solo ARIA Awards for Best Country Album and Best Female Artist.

Sydney artist Charlie Collins, who will support Chambers on the tour, said the opportunity is "a dream come true".

"When I was 10, Bill Chambers got me up on his show. I sung Kasey’s This Flower," Collins said.
