Country music royalty Kasey Chambers has announced a massive competition for emerging Aussie songwriters.

The singer has opened up her new recording studio - The Rabbit Hole - for one lucky winner to come in and have their EP recorded and produced by the Not Pretty Enough singer, completely free of charge.

"We’ve had a tough couple of years hey!!" Chambers wrote on her Facebook page.

"My heart goes out to all my fellow songwriters, artists and musicians but especially the new ones starting out in this difficult time... so I’d like to pay it forward & bring some joy to an aspiring artist/songwriter in the music industry."

She continued, "We have spent the last 6 months building the new Rabbit Hole Recording Studio and creative music space for recording and exclusive creative music workshops on the Central Coast-NSW set on 2.5 acres of private bush land. I am giving one lucky artist in Australia over 16yrs the opportunity to enter... to win the recording of your EP produced by me - Kasey Chambers - and Brandon Dodd in our brand new one-of-a-kind boutique recording studio. The winner will also receive a spot for one of my new creative music and songwriting day camps that I am starting up at our music retreat!

I’m looking forward to getting to know some of you new artists a little bit through your music and sharing the love."
