Fans can expect unacceptable comedy from the lauded personality

More Jimmy Carr More Jimmy Carr

One of the UK's most original comedians Jimmy Carr will unleash himself on Australian shores for the first time ever in January 2014.

The lauded television, radio and stage personality will bring Gagging Order to Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney throughout the first month of the new year, adding to the 1.5 million people he has performed to over his career – including the Prince of Wales during the Royal Variety Performance.

Carr brags a British Comedy Award for Best Stand Up Tour, a Loaded LAFTA Award for Best Stand-Up and a Perrier Award nom, adding to a career hosting an amazing 15 series of Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats, as well as hosting C4's 10 O'Clock Live (with David Mitchell, Charlie Brooker and Lauren Laverne) and Channel 4's annual Big Fat Quiz Of the Year.

A household name in the UK and gaining more and more popularity in the United States, Jimmy Carr's Gagging Order tour will be the first time performing in Australia – promising a night of clever, rude and totally unacceptable comedy – adding to his ninth Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival performance in July this year.
