Who will come out on top?

More Cher More Cher

Music icon Cher and Australian legends Cold Chisel will fight it out for #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week - don't check the calendar, it definitely is 2018.

According to the midweek figures, Cher's 26th studio album and cover LP, Dancing Queen, is the favourite to debut at top spot, while Cold Chisel's 2011 compilation, The Best Of Cold Chisel: All For You, is predicted to climb into the top three following Jimmy Barnes' AFL grand final performance last weekend and the screening of his acclaimed documentary on TV screens this week.

While that record peaked at #2 back in 2011, Cher is chasing her second Australian #1 album and first since 1989's Heart Of Stone.

Both acts will have to contend against Eminem's Kamikaze, which is gunning for a fifth-straight week atop the chart.

Other album debuts this week include Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V, John Butler Trio's Home, Logic's YSIV, The Living End's Wunderbar (all top ten), Rod Stewart's Blood Red Roses (top 20) and Beartooth's Disease (top 40).
