Gorillaz Rapper Recovering In Hospital After Falling Off Stage At Festival

Gorillaz were forced to call their set short at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival on Saturday night when Clint Eastwood rapper Del The Funky Homosapien fell off the stage.

Footage of the incident shows the collaborator stepping out to perform the final song of the night alongside Damon Albarn and co, before disappearing out of view with crew rushing to assist him.

“It’s a really weird way to end a beautiful night, but he’s going to be okay,” Albarn told the crowd, before Del was taken to hospital.

“I’m doing alright but will be in the hospital for a bit, the care here is outstanding though,” Del said via Twitter.

“Much love to Gorillaz for having me out and I’ll be back soon yall.”
