"To say we are disappointed is an understatement – we are gutted," said festival Managing Director Sam Goldsmith.
"Bass is coming and it’s gonna be big at Heavy Congress," event organiser Stick Mareebo said.
"The site will be ready for festival goers on Thursday when gates open and the party begins," festival organisers teased.
Festival organisers told The Music that ensuring punters' safety is the festival’s “number one priority” after Buloke Shire Council recommended refusing the event's planning permit.
Phase 2 of the ULTRA Australia and ULTRA BEACH Gold Coast 2025 line-ups are finally here.
"Our firm belief is that the quality of the line-up will be the thing to keep fans and artists coming back."
Jet, Grinspoon, The Veronicas, and Spiderbait are just some of the beloved Aussie acts performing at this year's festival.
The festival, headlined by Don Toliver and Jhené Aiko, was set to begin in Melbourne next weekend.
Other acts locked in for this year's festival include Meg Mac, The Amity Affliction, CYRIL, and more.
Tickets are expected to sell out in the coming weeks.
