Laneway Festival is already sold out in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Limited tickets remain in Adelaide and Perth.
The expanded line-up will join already announced artists such as PJ Harvey, Khruangbin, and Róisín Murphy.
Festival organisers also confirmed that Neil Frances and Glass Beams have dropped off the line-up.
Next year’s festival was supposed to feature headliners Metallica and the recently reformed Linkin Park.
Ball Park Music, King Stingray, Tia Gostelow, and Baker Boy will headline the upcoming festival.
US rockers Destroy Boys dropped off the bill and have been replaced by Alex Lahey.
