More Dizzy Reed More Dizzy Reed

Golden Robot Records are starting their 2018 right by announcing the signing of two huge US acts for worldwide release.

The Music can exclusively reveal that platinum-selling and multi-award winning legends Puddle Of Mudd and all-star metal band A New Revenge are joining Golden Robot in what is becoming one of Australia's fastest-growing indie record labels.

"We are just at the very beginning of realising our mission here at Golden Robot Records, and that's to be THE leading rock music company of the future,” Golden Robot Global Entertainment Group Founder and President Mark Alexander-Erber said.

“Having only started the company just three years ago as a humble rock fan, I am unbelievably proud to have built the strongest and most artist-friendly rock label in Australia and am now taking it to the world.”

A New Revenge and Puddle of Mudd join the likes of Ben Gillies, Dizzy Reed The Superjesus, Steve Kilbey, The Lockhearts and a stack more on the Golden Robot roster.

Alexander-Erber has also hinted some more big-name acts are set to jump on board the Golden Robot train in the coming months, as well as the appointment of ex Roadrunner President, Derek Shulman, who will oversee the expansion of the label worldwide.

"When I met Mark a couple of years ago he asked me what I thought was needed to become a successful international rock music company in today’s less than auspicious recording atmosphere. I answered Mark with three simple words. Passion, Capital and Luck," Shulman said.

"We chatted about his company in Australia and his vision of how he was building it to become a powerhouse. I was extremely impressed by Mark’s drive and entrepreneurial spirit and wished him the best.

"In the summer of 2017 Mark called and asked me to meet him in Los Angeles to discuss what we had talked about 18 months earlier. He said he was ready: He had indeed built Golden Robot Records to become the powerhouse he promised."
