WA singer-songwriter Kav Temperley has detailed his first solo venture outside of revered rockers Eskimo Joe, confirming debut EP Hope Street will drop this September with a tour in support.

The news is accompanied by soul-funk rock number Dancin’ (feat. Lucy Peach) that will no doubt get punters doing just that.

“It’s terrifying! But it’s also liberating,” Temperley said of his solo debut.

“There was no censoring – no towing a particular line. I suppose you could say Hope St is me burying my 20s and elegantly dancing into my late 30s. It’s about finding a new way.”
