This could be huge.

More Frank Ocean More Frank Ocean

After four painful years of waiting, US R&B artist Frank Ocean sneakily dropped his long-awaited sophomore album Blond over the weekend and though it is tipped to soar to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week, it will have to topple an unlikely contender in Brisbane outfit Ball Park Music if it is to debut at #1.

Ball Park Music's fourth LP, Every Night The Same Dream, is set to debut in the top three and the band are no doubt looking to go one better following on from 2014's Puddinghead which peaked at #2 on the chart.

The new record also scored our pick for Album Of The Week

They'll have their work cut out for them, however, as Ocean's Blond is expected to blitz through charts around the world on the back of 2012's Channel Orange which peaked at #9 in Australia.

The only other threat to challenge for the #1 spot is acclaimed Aussie hip hop artist Drapht, whose fifth studio album, Seven Mirrors, is primed for a top five debut.

Other album debuts this week include comedy duo Roy & HG's This Sporting Life, country music legend Dolly Parton's Pure & Simple, John Williamson's His Favourite CollectionSabaton's The Last Stand, the film soundtrack for Ricky GervaisDavid Brent — Life On The RoadLindsey Stirling's Brave EnoughEden's I Think You Think Too Much Of Me and Tory Lanez' I Told You.

On the Singles Chart, the reigning chart toppers, The ChainsmokersCloser featuring Halsey, DJ Snake's Let Me Love You and Major Lazer's Cold Water featuring Justin Bieber, look to battle it out again for #1, while Aussie-born-US-based Betty Who is set to yet again rise in the top ten after cracking #9 last week.

New tracks debuting this week include US singer Hailee Steinfeld's Starving and UK artist Calum Scott's Dancing On My Own.
