More Broods More Broods

New Zealand indie sibling duo Broods have returned with a massive new single - announcing the upcoming fourth studio album, Space Island.

The team of Georgia and Caleb Nott have delved deeper into the electro pop musical landscape explored in 2019's Don't Feed The Monster, showcasing their synth-laden skills with the new single, Piece Of My Mind.

"Piece Of My Mind is the opening fanfare of Space Island," explained Georgia of the new addition to their oeuvre.

"The song describes the many paradoxes we encounter when we try to escape our problems - the more we try to run away from our problems and ourselves, the more we are confronted with the aspects of each that we don’t like.

"Piece of My Mind is the moment I start reasoning with myself at the crossroads - to figure out where I am, and what’s really at the heart of what I’m denying and trying to escape."

Premiering on triple j's Breakfast programming this morning, Broods have also just dropped the '70s, sci-fi b-movie inspired vid for the new single - complete with UFO's, spacesuits and some less-than-convincing visual FX.
