Brisbane's Sonic Masala Fest Announces First 2017 Line-up

Stalwart Brisbane label Sonic Masala is throwing another of its renowned eponymous festivals at Greenslopes Bowls Club this August, and the crew have amassed a mighty fine group of Queensland and interstate acts to help soundtrack the festivities for 2017.

Though more acts are still to be announced, the organisers have got our appetites nice and whetted with their first line-up announce, featuring eagerly awaited performances from the likes of Victoria's TV HAZE and Psychic 5, canberra's Shoeb Ahmad, and established and emergent local favourites such as Seja, Spirit Bunny, Guava Lava, Andrew Tuttle, Requin, Ultra Material, Microfiche, Greg Charles, Kellie Lloyd and Air Jordans.

Not only is there good music on offer, but a good cause at its root, with two dollars fom every ticket being sent to beloved community station and event presenters 4ZZZ, as well as 50% of the profits being sent to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
