Literally a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity

One of the biggest drawcards of Bluesfest 2016 (and that's saying something when you glance your eyes over the line-up boasting Tom Jones, Noel Gallagher and more), co-founder of the iconic The Beach Boys Brian Wilson has announced he'll be bringing his super-exclusive, 50th anniversary celebration of Pet Sounds to a few newly minted Bluesfest sideshows.

Apart from the rare performance at Bluesfest, Wilson will bring one of the world's most influential albums to stages in New Zealand, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, with a Sydney show yet to be announced.

Wilson has confirmed that this will be the last time he will perform the Pet Sounds set.

Though Wilson stopped performing with The Beach Boys in the mid '60s, he has stayed a pivotal part of the band by producing much of their material. On this tour, he'll be performing alongside original member Al Jardine and long-term member Blondie Chaplin.
