Bob Evans Forced To Postpone Upcoming Sydney Show Due To Border Restrictions

Bob Evans has been forced to postpone his upcoming Sydney show. 

The much-loved Aussie artist - aka Kevin Mitchell - was due to perform at Petersham Bowling Club on Saturday next week as part of the Small Fry Rock Show series. 

"Hey folks, Unfortunately due to border closures and the current situation in Sydney my sold out Small Fry Rock show next weekend will need to be postponed once more," said Mitchell in a post to social media today. 

"Stay tuned for an announcement regarding the new date.  We'll get there eventually! CHEERS XXXBOBXXX"

Alannah Russack was also set to perform at the event. 

"It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of our show with Bob Evans and Alannah Russack's Music at Petersham Bowling Club next weekend," said organisers in a statement to social media today.

"Capacity restrictions have changed for indoor venues and the NSW/VIC border closure makes it challenging for Bob Evans to get to us. 

"A new date will be arranged once restrictions look to ease again. All tickets will remain valid for the new date, and ticket holders will be contacted during the week..."
