The Fortitude Music Hall has announced the return of its Strings Attached series in collaboration with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra.

On Friday the 17th of June they'll be hosting ARIA Award-winning, multi-platinum Aussie rap giants Bliss N Eso

Following performances from Vera Blue and The Smith Street Band for a pair of string accompanied sold-out performances in 2021, the iconic Brisbane venue will host Bliss N Eso's first time performing alongside an orchestra.

The performance is a long-awaited realisation for the band, with the moulding of contemporary and classical sounds at the forefront of their creative endeavours for years.

“To play an orchestral show has been a dream of ours for years. Our music is extremely cinematic and already has orchestral overtones through it," MC Bliss explained. "So this is something that we’ve wanted to bring together for a long time. To finally do this for the first time…it is exquisitely amazing.

MC Eso added: “I think it was a present that came from the universe. We are already prepared for it.”
