Bill Murray Teams With Phoenix For Christmas Single To Coincide With Netflix Special
There's nothing Bill Murray can't do.
Beloved Hollywood actor Bill Murray is set to release a brand new Christmas single with French rock band Phoenix in support of his Netflix holiday special A Very Murray Christmas.
According to Modern Vinyl, the original track entitled Alone On Christmas which also features performances by actor Jason Schwartzman, Paul Schaffer (the former sidekick to retired TV host David Letterman) and US rock singer Buster Poindexter is to be released on seven-inch on 4 December, the same day the show airs on Netflix.

The Christmas TV special will not only include cameos by Phoenix, Schwartzman, Schaffer and Poindexter, but it will feature appearances by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry today including George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus and many more.
The story follows Murray (who plays himself) as he prepares to host an international holiday broadcast before a New York blizzard halts production.
