More Ben Folds More Ben Folds

Ben Folds has revealed via Facebook that he'll be spending the next three months on lockdown in Australia due the coronavirus crisis.

The US singer-songwriter, who was in the country for his 2020 orchestral tour, revealed that "the timing of cancellations and postponements meant missing windows to safely return to the US."

"So I moved from a hotel into a temporary apartment situation here in Australia for the next three months."

On the bright side, once he gets "groceries, internet" and any other necessary equipment, Folds says that he is going to use that time to "write a new record".

"Once we’ve established our new lives, let’s be creative in ways we wouldn’t normally be. I'm going to make stuff because that’s how I’m useful."
