Bellingen's Bello Winter Music Festival has announced countless collaborative initiatives, programs and more as the July event creeps closer, including a youth mentorship program and an environmental program, and today's announcement is no less exciting.

This year, the Gram Parsons Project will be taking over the festival, led by US singer/songwriter/banjoist Willie Watson along with a number of the festival's most notable artists. Josh Hedley, Claire Anne Taylor, Jo Jo Smith, The Green Mohair Suits, Sweet Jean, Sara Carroll, Aine Tyrrell and Cath Cooper will be joining Watson to pay homage to iconic country artist Gram Parsons as we celebrate 70 years since his birth.

The showcase will pay tribute to Parsons' transcendent music and the influence he's had on countless musicians in an event on Sunday, 10 July at Bellingen Memorial Hall from 11.30am.

Other collaborative showcases at the festival include Bread & Butter, with artists like Mojo Juju, William Crighton, Sahara Beck and more dueting together, Cutloose Saloon featuring surprise guests from the festival taking part in acoustic sets, beatnik poetry and more, and On The Couch With Brian Nankervis, consisting of interviews and impromptu performances with the RocKwiz host.
