Baby Animals are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their second album, Shaved And Dangerous – where has the time gone? – by pressing it to vinyl for the first time.

To add to the first-ever Shaved And Dangerous vinyl, the iconic Aussie rock outfit has gone above and beyond by pressing the record to limited edition blue vinyl.

Limited to just 500 units, fans of the tracks Don’t Tell Me What To Do and Lights Out At Eleven don’t want to be Stoopid and miss out on the vinyl release. You can pre-order your copy of Shaved And Dangerous here via Love Police.

“In celebration of Shaved and Dangerous turning 30, we'll be pressing it to vinyl for the FIRST TIME, and limited-edition blue vinyl at that,” Baby Animals wrote on social media this morning (30 June).

“And in a nice full circle moment, our release date for the vinyl, August 30 2023, will mark 30 years to the day (!!) of the album's original release.

“Get pre-ordering now, if the last vinyl release is anything to go by, these will be sold out within a day or two!!!”

Last year, Baby Animals celebrated the 30th anniversary of their debut self-titled album by hitting the road in Brisbane, Adelaide, Tweed Heads, Sunshine Coast and Melbourne, with the band offering up classics such as Rush You, Early Warning, Painless and more.

Kingswood joined them on all dates. While the tour happened a year later than planned due to the Covid-19 pandemic, at least nobody had to miss out.

In October 2024, Baby Animals will join The Living End, The Screaming Jets and many more on the Rock The Boat cruise for seven days of rock and roll madness on the sea.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Rock the Boat 2024 to Carnival Luminosa for the first time,” Marius Els, CEO of Choose Your Cruise, said in a press release. “This cruise offers music lovers a unique opportunity to enjoy world-class performances from a new generation of artists.”
