Alt-J Are Returning Down Under Later This Year

Frontier Touring has today announced the return of UK band alt-j to Australian shores, performing in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth in support of their new album, The Dream.

The Australian tour kicks off on the 17th of September at Riverstage in Brisbane, followed by Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena on the 20th of the same month.

The band will then head to Sydney on the 24th performing at the Hordern Pavilion, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre on the 27th and HBF Stadium in Perth, on the 29th.

“We are bringing The Dream Down Under. It’s been too long since we visited beautiful Australia and New Zealand. See you there in September 2022. Let’s have it,” the band stated.

The tour announcement comes ahead of the release of their fourth studio album, The Dream, which follows the chart-topping success and critical acclaim of 2017's Relaxer.

It releases tomorrow, the 11th of February, and features previously showcased singles The Actor, Hard Drive Gold, U&ME and Get Better.
