There's Another Download 2019 Poster Doing The Rounds... And Yes, It's Fake

If only.

In what is quickly becoming the most annoying tradition around, yet another Download Festival poster apparently showing the 2019 line-up is doing the rounds.

Admittedly there are some huge names on the bill but Download promoters have confirmed to The Music today that the poster is bogus.

The poster does feature The Amity Affliction, who yesterday confirmed they will indeed perform at Download's Melbourne and Sydney events next year, however we will just have to wait and see if names like Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and A Day To Remember really do make the cut.

Appearing on triple j breakfast this week, The Amity Affliction's Joel Birch and Ahren Stringer let the news slip while promoting their new album, Misery.

"The only Australian shows we're doing are for Download… I probably shouldn't have said that," Birch said.

"This is why I shouldn't be allowed on radio."

The news comes just weeks after the 2019 dates and venues were confirmed for Download, with the line-up promised to be a "corker".
