The Amity Affliction Accidentally Confirm They're Playing Australia's Download Festival In 2019

The Amity Affliction have confirmed they'll perform at next year's Download Festival in Melbourne and Sydney. 

Appearing on triple j breakfast this morning, Joel Birch and Ahren Stringer let the news slip while promoting their new album, Misery.

"The only Australian shows we're doing are for Download… I probably shouldn't have said that," Birch said.

"This is why I shouldn't be allowed on radio."

The news comes just weeks after the 2019 dates and venues were confirmed for Download, with the line-up promised to be a "corker".

This year's inaugural bill featured sets from Korn, Limp Bizkit and Prophets Of Rage.
