So that explains, "What about Brisbane?"

More Gang Of Youths More Gang Of Youths

Brisbane fans weren't feeling the love after the city was left out of Gang Of Youths' mammoth Australian tour this November and after promising that something was coming, the band have delivered… and then some.

The Sydney outfit have today launched their very own festival —  A More Perfect Union — to debut at Brisbane's Riverstage on Saturday 24 November during their headline run.

As well as headlining the festival, Gang Of Youths have curated a huge line-up for inaugural event, including Luca Brasi, Jack River, Thelma Plum and Charlie Collins.

"A More Perfect Union is something we have been excited about doing for a while now," the band said in a statement.

"Bringing a festival to Australia that we can grow into something incredible for people. This is the first of hopefully many, and we have asked some friends we really respect to join us.

"We are constantly surprised by, and are very grateful for the way Australia has treated us and we hope people in Brisbane can come along and enjoy the show."

Gang Of Youths has also partnered with PLUS1; $1 from every ticket purchased will go towards the Aboriginal Legal Service and its work providing culturally appropriate legal services, influencing positive change, and increasing access to justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.

General public tickets for A More Perfect Union go on sale from 11am tomorrow (9 August); for more details, including a look at all dates for Gang Of Youths' Australian tour, click on theGuide.
